We are an independent network

Your Laptop Repair LLC is an independent coordination service for a network of independent repair workshops. We are not a manufacturer, we are not a franchisor, and we are not an authorised or official service point for anybody. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any manufacturer, and no manufacturer has any role in who joins the network or how a repair is carried out.

No brand names

No brand names, logos or trade dress appear anywhere on this site. We say “every major brand” deliberately, because our service does not depend on, and is not licensed by, any particular maker. Where brand names exist in the world, they belong to their respective owners, and their appearance here is neither claimed nor implied.

Accuracy of advice

The guidance on this site, including the notes on each service page and the article on preparing a laptop, is general information offered in good faith. It is not a diagnosis. A fault described in general terms can have several causes, and the only reliable assessment is one made with the laptop on a bench. Do not treat anything here as a substitute for an inspection by a competent repairer.

Estimates are estimates

Price bands quoted on this site are indicative and based on common cases. The binding figure for your repair is the written estimate you receive and authorise. No figure on this site is an offer, and nothing here creates a contract to repair at any particular price.

Third-party content

Photographs on this site are used for illustration only. They show generic repair situations and do not depict any particular customer, workshop or job. No image should be read as a claim about any specific repair or outcome.

No promises of outcome

Some faults cannot be repaired, and some boards are beyond economic recovery. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise that a given fault can be fixed. Where a repair is not viable, you will be told honestly and charged only what was agreed in advance.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information published on this site. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not affect the terms that apply to a booked repair, which are set out in the terms of service.

Testimonials and figures

This site does not publish invented testimonials, star ratings or customer counts. Where a figure appears, such as a number of countries served, it describes the service area rather than a performance claim. We would rather say less and be accurate than say more and be doubted, and we would rather a customer judge us on a written estimate and a finished repair than on anything written here.
